Tools and Techniques

This is AWESOME! :-)
Learn how to "kiss" with your stamps!

I found this on YouTube - such a cool idea for the glitter!! I am going to use it on my Christmas cards...

September Technique: Masking

A fairly basic technique, but sometimes it helps to have a refresher, or reminder! This technique allows you to have more flexibility with straight line stamps, as with phrase stamps.
Tools: stamp, ink, and scrap paper for the mask.

Decide where you want to stamp the image, then use the scrap paper to mask the part of the stamp image you don't want to see.

August Technique: Two-tone Stamping

This technique lets you use two contrasting colors to spice up your stamped images.
Tools: Stamp image
two contrasting ink colors (one lighter, one darker)
sponge

Ink the stamp in the lighter color. Use the sponge to put ink in the darker color on the edges of the stamp.

Works best with color combinations in related families (yellow / green; pinks / reds or purples; blue / purple etc.) or with a lighter color and brown.
